This is our lovely stockings, my aunt makes em' and sews names on em' for extra money. I just wish she could make em' like my mamaw made mine when I was born.

Damon put up the tree a couple of weeks ago and I should have took pictures then because he made it pretty. With a 4 yr old and a 14 month old and an over excited dog well it is still pretty but rearranged.

I was tagged by Terri Jones, unfortunately I have not the first clue on where my 4th folder or 4th picture is. I only have like 12 posts so I don't think it would even go back that far. So I just pulled a random picture off of my computer. I am going to list 4 things about it.

1. This was taken aboutr 1.5 yrs ago when we still lived on kingston avenue.

2. It has austin and his puppy Tyson in the picture.

3. Tyson will be 2 yrs old this christmas, (he was a christmas present)

4. The house Austin is staring at is my parents, (yes we bought our 1st home right behind my parents,lol)

Now the funny part about that is we sold that house this past June, But we bought the house we are in last December and guess where it is, right beside Damon's parents, we just can't get away from em'!!!

My brother in law called early this morning to tell his dad that he and his wife are suprisingly with child. It is unexpected but everyone is super excited and we can't wait to see them over the holidays, Congratulations guys!!!!

Halloween Fun...

These are my 2 beautiful nieces Lexy and Chelsey 10 & 8. They are dressed like the characters on High School Musical.

This is my beautiful little girl Adan Kay dressed up as Little Red Riding Hood. She had a blast the whole night she was holding out her hand at people saying ere, ere (her version of here) for them to put candy in her hand, she was extremely happy that they did, and would not let her bucket go.

This is my handsome Big Man Austin who is truly a trooper having to go to the er the night before cuz he busted his chin open on the bathtub, they glued it thank goodness instead of stitches. He is dressed as the muscular Incredible Hulk. We started a tradition after a couple of years of trick or treating. Damon's family always gives the kids candy galore, there are about 5 houses in total that we visit, of course you talk to em' when you are there. Well due to little time, safety, and Austin getting extremely upset with people that we don't know just giving him one piece, we have stuck to just going to family's houses and Damon goes to wal-mart and buys some candy on clearance for himself, ha. Last night though they were having a trunk or treat across the street from one of the houses we visited. We went there, Austin did ok but his daddy had to stop him from grabbing candy out of their bowls.( He thought he could help himself) Well I hope everyone enjoyed their Halloween we have enough candy to last us thru Christmas.

This is our scarecrow we made out of leaves and old clothes. Funny, we used washable markers so his face has come off. With kids you don't want non washable markers in the house, lol!!

Busy Day

Today, we were out of the house all day. But with much enjoyment. My church family is very, very, important to me.Below is a picture of a Makaelib, he was baptised tonight at Gateway Baptist Church. He is the son of Angie Cooper and she is definitely my sister, regardless of blood or not. I have known her and her family since birth, and I love them all dearly. It is such a beautiful thing to see such a young person wanting to live their life for the Lord. Love you Bud!!!


We also visited my mamaw today, she is in a nursing home in Athens, Tn. She had to be placed in a lock down facility due to having the disease Alzhiemers. This is such an ugly, heartbreaking disease. Most of the time it is hard for me to stomach it. She is in good health now. Except she does not know half the people in her family. Example of how bad for those of you who don't understand, I was around her my whole life, it was not like a once a month thing, more or less everyday with frequent vacations. Today I go in there, and my dad does his normal routine and asks if she knows who he is. She states of course you look more and more like your dad everyday.(I am assuming she remembers him today because my dad does look like his dad, but...) So my dad states well who is my dad, she says laughing you should know your own dad is Arthur. (Arthur is my mamaw's brother, my papaw's name of course was Fletcher Stegall) So then my dad asks her who I am she said she does not know, he says well that is your grand daughter and your great grand daughter and great grand son. She smiles at me and says well that is nice. This is the woman that would wake me up in the middle of the night picking my nose cuz she said I was not breathing right, the very first person I ever stayed away from mom and daddy with and the same person who taught me how to tie my shoes. I vowed to myself when my mamaw frost died in 2005 and austin was only 1 that he would know this mamaw. Unfortunately she was in the early stages even then and he can know her, But she won't know him. It is hard to deal with not to mention absolutely heart wrenching. Below is some pictures, My Mamaw Pass and Papaw Pass have been married for 46 yrs, he is now living with my uncle due to the dr's stating a week ago he can no longer live by himself and they told us he has a slight touch of Alzheimer's.
