Our Christmas 2010

The pictures are all together from adan's christmas party at her daycare to the christmas play at our church, and then christmas morning. You may notice in the pictures that adan gets a lot of dresses, and yes she did!
She is very girly and absolutely loves dresses and would wear them everyday if I allowed it. As you can see my children are getting very much bigger, they have not come up with a remedy for that one yet =) I hope everyone had a wonderful christmas and has a very happy new year!!!

Our losses July 2010

Well as some of you may all ready know on July 19,2010 My family faced an unexpected tragedy. My brother-in-law Randy Turnbill passed away of a massive heart attack at the young age of 31. His and my sister's relationship was shared for 8 years and 3 beautiful boys age right now of 7,6, and 3 lost their daddy.I have known Randy since I was a mere child when he came into our lives thru my eldest sister Kathy.I have several memories from my childhood on up of him. I hold them very near and dear to my heart.
Randy was a man that was as hard headed as they came, very set in his old fashioned ways. You could confide anything in him and never have a worry about it getting any further. He was a macho man I don't think anybody could have ever gotten the better of him in a fight,lol. I know they didn't when he was on this earth anyways.
He was the youngest of 7 boys I guess that could explain his toughness. But he would give the shirt off his back to anyone. He had a kind heart, regardless of his actions. He was an a+ dad to those boys he loved them and wanted each and everyone of them.
I was always told throughout my entire life that you never know when death will come knocking at your door, I always knew that to be true but this really set the reality in on me. I will always cherish the time I have had with him, he was an in law but in my feelings he was a brother with or without the same blood line.

Adan Kay is 3!!!!

I think I am caught up now,lol. On september 2, 2010 Adan had her 3rd birthday. So sad for mommy to see her grow up she is absolutely gorgeous and soooo mean compared to her brother. I am so grateful for the blessing of this this little girl. When my children smile, well I smile hence the song on the montage. A lot of the family turned out to celebrate with us on the 4th of september at the roane county park. It was a butterfly themed party.Thanks for viewing my blog, and keeping updated on my family

Birthdays Of July

Well on July 15th I had my 27th birthday. On July 27th My sister amanda had her 30th birthday. (yea I know right after her husband died :() We tried our best to have good ones, our parents and my husband was there trying to make it a bright day amongst all the tragedy. So Happy birthday to us !!!!

My wonderful Mamaw

On july 5, 2010 my dear sweet mamaw pass passed away and went home to be with our heavenly father and loved ones that have left before us. I have spoken on here before of her horrible disease. She suffered from alzhiemer's, she fought the good fight tho. In her stubborness I am sure that is what made her last so long. Just last year she suffered from double pneumonia on take of a massive stroke and the family was called in saying she would not make it thru the next 24 hours. But..... she did and suffered from pnuuemonia again later on in the year.
The thing is that God takes you out of this world when it is your time, and we have to accept it as part of his plan and ask for his comfort.
I was practically around this woman my entire childhood our families did everything together. We went on vacation every year together, spent every church service together. I am so grateful to have such a close family. We are all attached to each other's hips. All though this drives my husband crazy sometimes I would not have it any other way.
This was my last actual grandparent that was living. I still have a step papaw tho, whom I love very much and he is not in good health either.I know my mamaw is in a much better place. She suffered so much from this ugly disease, I just hope they can find a cure for this disease along with many others that are so tragic.

Family zoo trip May 12, 2010

We went to the zoo in May with Austin for his kindergarten school trip. We had a really good time, of course. My parents came, along with my sister, her husband and 2 of her children. (the oldest was in 1st grade and could not come) My dear friend Anita from work came along too, and took all of these pictures and a ton more that I did not put on here because you would be watching it for a while. I love her to death, she has been there for me thru some rough times. Family really matters and this day has a very special place in my heart because it was the last time I would make a trip with my brother-in-law and spend so much time with him watching him with his kids and seeing his love for his family. So I hope you enjoy the pictures, we all had such a good time that day.

Easter fun!!!!

Well we had an awesome Easter I spent time with my entire family, my nieces, nephews cousins. The little baby that you see is the newest addition to the Stegall family. MY cousin Matt finally had a little boy to carry on the name we are all so proud of and he is cute!!!!! My nieces Lexy and Chelsey celebrated their birthdays they turned 12 and 10, don't know how they got so old. Well not old but you know what I mean.Church Easter morning was very moving and I believe everyone could feel the spirit. I love that little church, and all the people in it!!!! Our pastor is awesome that old time religion preacher, who could ask for anything better than that!!! I wish everyone and blessed Easter and I hope everyone reflects on what Easter is really about!!!!

My 8 year wedding anniversary!!

So Damon and I celebrated 8 years of marriage on on March 27Th. It has definitely been a road to travel on . But, with love and prayer and a guiding hand we have made it and are looking forward to more years together as a family. I am so blessed that I have God on my side and would not have it any other way!!!!

Adan Kay

Well Adan is 2 1/2 now will be 3 in September. This little girl surprises me everyday, she talks your head off. Which at this age I can remember with Austin everything they do shocks me. Because it is like, Wait a minute you are not supposed to know that, you are not supposed to say that . I mean I still think of them as babies but she proves me wrong daily just like Austin did. It is definitely hard to accept seeing as how my baby department has been shut down and there will be no more babies. It is hilarious how she sings along with the radio. Every time American Idol comes on she goes and grabs her microphone and sings her little heart out. Now that she definitely takes after her momma. Anyone who knew me in younger years knows that I sang,, sang ,sang, ha. But that is OK she is my little singer and maybe one day when she is big enough we can get up at church and sing together :). Nothing would make my heart happier!!!!!! I love that little girl, it is so funny how my kids are so different and has changed my life so much!!!

Austin is 6

Austin turned 6 on March 11,2010. It is unreal to me that this boy is getting this big. I love him more than can be explained, which I am sure if you are reading this and you are a parent you completely understand.He is doing awesome in school,way smarter than I ever was,Damon and I could not be prouder. We are just trying to enjoy these times as much as possible. We argue over who he takes everything after,lol. But one thing we both can agree on is he is definitely Damon's "mini me" and takes his love for video games after him as well. Happy Birthday, Austin and you will always be mommy's baby boy no matter how big you get!!!!!!!!

Well this year halloween was fun, I made austin the costume, because he wanted to be alvin and i could not find a costume to buy any where. So I just found this home made costume website that told me exactly how to make it. Adan's was much easier just found her costume on line to buy. But 5 yr olds are definitely more difficult. Austin was woried he would not be recognized, but only 1 person all night did not recognize him and they must not have watched tv very much in their lifetime, lol. But the kids got plenty of candy for the whole 6 houses we made it to. We even had our own trick or treaters when we gothome at 8:30 cuz we forget to turn our porch light off, ha.

in touch with friends

So I have gotten back in touch with one of my good friends from High School. I ran into her at wal-mart and she had this beautiful little boy to show off. I am so happy that we are back in touch again and as keisha would say Love you, Girl. God has really blessed me to have such wonderful people in my life. I really am not worthy to ask for more:)

I visited my friend Heather back in June for a few days, we had a blast with the kids and catching up on old times, lol:) She moved to Texas shortly after and I wish she would have stayed, Ha. I guess I am the only one who refuses to leave the great state of Tennessee. I miss ya bunches Heather can't wait til' you come home to visit.

This post is definitely long over due. Our nephew was born in June to Allen and Jennifer Griffin who live away from us and we miss them all the time:) This beautiful baby especially!! I have not even got to hold him yet:( They came to visit, But we were super busy, regretfully. But of course they understood. Can't wait til' the holidays so we can see this little bundle of Joy!!!

Adan's 2nd birthday party from September of this year. The last pictures and video is when their great grand dad and nanny came to visit in May from England , this is the first time I met them as well as the kids and Damon had not seen them since he was a child, It was really exciting for me as well as the entire family. We miss them very much!!!!

update

I have not been posting in a loooong time. I have been busy with life changes and so forth. Things are definitely looking up since the last time I had posted anything.I am now working full time at my job instead of prn. Austin is going to kindergarten!!!!! Adan turned 2 yrs old, I have every intention of posting some pictures once I have the time. I have read everybody else's posts just not done any of my own in a while. Thanks to everyone who was praying for my family in our trying times.

Happy 50th birthday Susan!!!!!

may 4th is my mother-in-law Susan's birthday and this past Saturday they had a huge party. Although most probably do not remember it, lol. Her parents from England came all the way here to celebrate. We also had my brother-in-law and his wife who are expecting come up from Georgia and stay with us for a few days. And Damon's cousin Danny and his wife and 2 beautiful children also came in from Georgia. And way to many locals to mention. I believe everyone has had a great time and my children got to meet their great grandparents for the first time. I am so excited for her to get to spend this time with her parents and sister from England. They go back this thursday and I know they are spending as much quality time together that is possible. Well susan we love you very much and we wish you nothing but the best for your 50th and every year there after. Carrie took awesome pictures these are just a few and of course I had to put a picture of adan in there that she took because it was way too cute!!!!!

we got a new puppy

So i went and got this new puppy last night, he is a boxer was born december 19 which should be easy to remember since this is damon's birthday. He is cute but needs a lot of work to house train which I am definitely not looking forward to. I have all ready had my feel of it and it has not been 24 hrs yet, ha. Anyways we are going to have to get his ears clipped. We did not get tyson's clipped due to him not looking like a full- blooded boxer which we were told he was when we bought him. He would look funny if he did have them clipped. Tyson is real excited to get a friend to play with. Hopefully this will stop him from chewing up the kids toys when we leave them in the back yard.

My baby boy is 5!!!

Oh my goodness how time flies with your children on March 11, 2009 my baby boy austin turned 5. We had a huge surprise party and it was awesome I went all out with hiring a caterer to make an extra special cake because wal-mart or any other deli's did not have a looney tunes cake. He had a blast and was super surprised he had no idea I can remember it seemed like just yesterday he was a baby being brought home from the hospital, yes I have cried and cried thinking of how he is not little any more.

I remember when I decided to quit breastfeeding he started having problems using the bathroom, and he was so ridiculously fussy. Me being a first time mommy was nervous and scared and clueless as to how to help him. He had been crying for an hour or more, Damonand I had don everything we could and he would not quit. So what else do you do? Call MOM and that is what I did she came right over. She picks him up and he goes right to sleep. Ughh and my mom tells me in a loud voice "you are a nervous wreck and he can tell so you have to calm down and take care of him" lesson learned.

I could not imagine my life without this little angel in it. God has truly blessed me with both of my children. Austin was my rock during some very hard times in my life and I believe God knew that he would be when he put him in my life. Those of you who are reading this and knows me knows of those times so I do not have to elaborate. Of course he has no realization as to the huge impact he has made he was just a baby and still is but I definitely would have lost some sanity had he not been there.

I got a job!!

So I have been unemployed since October due to reasons beyond my control. But, today praise god I got a phone call from Baptist Hospital West asking me if I was interested in a position.....Absolutely!!!I have been trying to get hired there since November but apparently they have a very long hiring process. I am going to be working in the ER in the admissions, I start training March 9. I am so excited and grateful at the same time. I have truly been blessed in this unfortunate economy and everyone struggling to get by. I have been fortunate to have been able to have received an unemployment check to have a means to pay the few bills I have. I am including a couple of pictures that I have taken of me and the babies in the past week.
